About Entrepreneurs
Formed from the membership of the Systers mailing list, the entrepreneurs list seeks to discuss questions of interest to female IT-related entrepreneurs. Sharing of experiences will be encouraged in a mentor-like atmosphere. This will be a place to connect and network, to learn and to grow. To access the archives, please visit Entrepreneurs Archives. Using Entrepreneurs
The mailing list is organized around conversations. To begin a new conversation, send email to Entrepreneurs+new@athena.systers.org. Alternately, if you would like to specify a name for your new conversation, send your message to Entrepreneurs+new+name@athena.systers.org, replacing name with the name you would like (e.g., Entrepreneurs+new+greetings@athena.systers.org). To continue an existing conversation, simply use your mailer's "reply-all" command. You can subscribe to the list in the next section of this page, or if you are already a subscriber, use the bottom section to change options or unsubscribe.
Subscribing to Entrepreneurs
Subscribe to Entrepreneurs by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your full name:   This list requires subscribers to provide a short essay on their qualifications to join this list. Please tell us: 1) In what way you are a woman in computing, 2) in what way you are an entrepreneur, 3) that you are a woman, and 4) that you have read the rules listed in the FAQ and agree to follow them. You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
