Using Test-kathy
The mailing list is organized around conversations. To begin a new conversation, send email to Test-kathy+new@athena.systers.org. Alternately, if you would like to specify a name for your new conversation, send your message to Test-kathy+new+name@athena.systers.org, replacing name with the name you would like (e.g., Test-kathy+new+greetings@athena.systers.org). To continue an existing conversation, simply use your mailer's "reply-all" command. You can subscribe to the list in the next section of this page, or if you are already a subscriber, use the bottom section to change options or unsubscribe.
Subscribing to Test-kathy
Subscribe to Test-kathy by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your full name:   This list requires subscribers to provide a short essay on their qualifications to join this list. To join the list, you must tell us:1) your involvement in technical computing -- one or two sentences is enough, 2) that you are a woman, and 3) that you agree to follow the rules in the frequently asked questions. Thank you! You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
